Luke's Last Day of Preschool

luke goes to the cutest preschool at the college. it's the same program that my mom did and i am just in love with it! the last day before christmas break, they went on a scavenger hunt to find different christmas trees and decorations and then they got to help cut down and decorate a tree. he was so excited!

Luke the Snowman

luke and i have wanted to make a snowman ever since the first time it snowed. brock, being much more experinced than i in the snowman making department, explained that it has to be the right kind of snow for it to work. it couldn't be too cold, it had to be wet but not too wet...that there is a certain type of "snowman snow." the good thing is that when it snows that kind of snow it isn't very cold outside... meaning that i really had a good time! it rolled into balls just like on the movies. thanks for helping liv! luke went inside before we were finished, but not before he named him after himself. we loved our cute snowman! i must have had the setting on my camera wrong, though, because the pictures are awful. :( i really should stick to a point-and-shoot!

Gingerbread Houses

my family has the best tradition of making gingerbread houses every year. well, my mom spends hours baking them, and then the rest of us cover them with candy. :) me and brock continued the tradition this year and baked them to decorate with his family. it took like 5 hours to bake them so landon fell asleep before we started decorating. i feel bad he missed out because he would have loved all the candy! making them yourself is definitely a lot of work, but worth it for sure!

VALENTINE CARDS!

i have been meaning to do this for a long time, but i finally got a blog/website set up with some of my card design stuff on it! right now there is just valentine's day cards, but i will be adding everything...birth announcements, wedding invitations, party and shower invites, etc.

you only pay for the file...i just put your picture and info on there, and send the file back to you ready to be printed at longs, walmart, whatever. you can print as few or as many as you want, wherever you want! it makes customized stuff totally affordable!

SNOWFEST

on saturday the city of rexburg had a 'SNOWFEST.' there were tons of activities for the kids...sleigh rides, snow painting, a treasure hunt, bowling, sledding, hot chocolate...it was such a good time! i didn't even get cold, and had way more fun in the snow than i ever thought i would! having kids changes everything. :) luke did NOT want to leave.

Didn't Win...

well, they announced the winners of the tickets today (finally! i had to listen all day) and it wasn't me or anyone i know. BUT, i just wanted to say thanks to you guys that entered for me! that was really sweet and made me so happy to have such great friends! thanks again, you're the best!
